“Thanks, Dave.” The door clicked shut as Wendy went to say her good-byes. Hodges put his jacket on, and, with a look into the mirror on the side, he flicked up his collar theatrically and winked at his reflection before leaving the room to find Wendy.

“Game on.”

Thanks I'm glad you liked it. I always figured Hodges to be the kind of guy who psyches himself up in front of the mirror :)

Guh, Hodges and Wendy are simultaneously hot and adorable and totally awkward. And shipping them is making start liking Hodges :D

Haha I know what you mean! Hodges always used to irritate me until one day I was thinking 'there is no way in hell Wendy would go with him' and then I tried to think of a scenario where it could happen. Now I kinda like them together :)

Don't feel dubious about this, it' great. You captured both Wendy and Hodges really well, and even managed to have them interact like human beings, which is more than what happens in the show. (You Kill Me was on earlier here in the UK...)

Anyway... This is very sweet. Thanks for sharing it.

First off can I just say how much I LOVE your icon!!! Thanks for the review. I was't sure that there was anyone out there who'd want to read Mature Wendy/Hodges, I wasn't even sure how far to take it. I wasn't really a Wendy/Hodges shipper when I started writing it, but I've definitely converted!!! :)

I really liked this! Hodges/Wendy is my "I kinda sorta ship them" ship for the show and you wrote something that makes em hope maybe they actually will get together.
