What a productive evening that was.
I didn't spend much time at the masquerade, but in what little time I attended, I quite enjoyed myself. Perhaps these social gatherings are not so discomforting.
Unfortunately, I had to leave early to take care of something~ I returned shortly after, but my dear princess was nowhere in sight. I must ask, for her sake - did you arrive home safely, Sakura? I apologize for missing the opportunity to take you dancing, and shall do my best to make it up to you at a later date. Under what circumstances did you leave the masquerade?
My brother seems to have made it to the city now, as well. I suppose I ought to keep an eye on him until his twin arrives to take over. How troublesome.
