Cruise
Saturday July 31st- I woke up like 9 30 to get ready thinking we are leaving at 10, at 10 i go downstairs and my mom is vaccuming in her pjs and my dad is in the poool. I was like ok no ones getting ready, so i went back to bed til we left around 10 45. We picked up Andrew and headed towards my grandmas. My grandpa drove us to the ship terminal in NYC. We boarded around 2, the first thing we did was EAT. Cruises are all bout food, which isnt good for me but i wasnt going to hold myself back. I limited myself to only 1 dessert a day. We walked around the ship. Then went to our first night of dinner on the boat. We then ordered room service , since it is free. WE ordered the brownies that are supposed to be good but they were horrible. We walked around the boat some more, then we to the first show of the cruise. Every night there is a show. The comdian sucked, everyone was leaving. So did we . We went to check out the dance club. U had to be 16 or older to gte in, so they wouldnt let me in because i didnt have my id. Which was ridiculous. We just sat at the bar. THen we eventually went to bed.
Sunday August 1st- I woke up 9 30 and went to the gym, to keep in shape even though im not dieting. Nice work out,kinda hard to run when the boats rocking. I got ready. We figured today we would follow the activites and tommorow sit in the sun and ppool. We went to lunch then to the art auction for 2 hours. I got a number and everything which was cool. I only went cuz i had free raffle tickets. It was intresting.We got some room service again. Then went to dinner, i was formal niht so we had to dress all nice. Before dinner we got all our pics taken. Then we went to the show. Me and andrew left early and went to watch Karoke. We stayed for a while. We got some food then went to bed.
Monday August 2nd- I woke up 9 30. Got brekfastEventually got lunch. We looked at all the pictures we took the night be4. Then went on the kitchen tour. We got to wlk through the kitchen of the ship, nothing great but it was pretty cool how it had a escalator in the kitchen. We were hangingout in the room, stupid me jumps off the top bunk ,forgets theres a ledge on the ceiling and hit my head. It hert badly. I got ready for dinner and met my parents. I was invited to the captins cocktail party beacause ive sailed on a carnival ship before, which was pretty cool. Freddy the "tail pipes" asked me to slow dance on the stage, but i turned him down. Freddy is the carnival mascot.Hes cool. After the cocktail party was the hypnotist show, the hyponotist waas boring, he was nothing great. Before the show was oer i wasnt feeling goood. I went back to the room. After andrew came back we walked around the ship to see if i would feel better. I went ot bed at like 11. We docked at florida early like 1am , it was a medical emergency also there was a hurricane out at sea we were just missing. The thing that was pretty cool was we were right by Kenndy Space Center, so bout 2 15 am a rocket was launching to goto mercury. I set my alarm on my cell phone but when i got service my time on my cell phone changed so my alarm went off late. WE missed it by 5 minutes.
Tuesday August 3rd- We had to wake up early (6:30) because we had to meet at 7am for the bus to universal. Everyone from the ship that was going to Universal went together. We got there a hour later. Who knows what time it was, i wasnt paying much att to time on the cruise. We went through city walk where i actually was at around christmas time. Then we went into universal. We did alot of rides like Jaws, Men iN Black, Twister, Back 2 the future, Hurricane and more. O yeah and we got to go into Universal Studios which was neat. We left and walked around City Walk. then went to our bus. We got back and went in the hot tub which was actually nice cuz i hate when hot tubs are cold. It was ncie and hot. AAt night after we ate a quick dinner we went to the comidian show. He was pretty funny. Then came on a juggler which was actually really good. Eventually 12am came, and we went to the dirt comidy show. It was a good one but i was out of it.
Wensday August 4th- We arrive at Nassau Bahamas. Not until 11am. Before we arrived I got to work out a little bit. ALso eat breakfast. I got ready then we got some lunch. Then got off the boat, caught a taxi to the Atlantis hotel. A nice guy let us use their beach at the Atlantis because of my brother. The atlantis is amazing! Its so big. We went to the beach there, me and andrew snuck off and went to the bar. Took advantage of the 18 thing. Then we went for a tour of the aquarium, which was cool. After that we went back to town, iwanted to shop but everything closed at 6. So we walked around a bit then we went back on the ship. If we knew Senor Frogs was there we would of totally went to the bar there. That night we had a quick dinner, i took a nice nap. Me and andrew went to the talent show which was fun. Aorund 12 ther was a party on the upper deck we went to. After the party i went to the casino and lost a dollar. Then bed time.
Thursday August 5th- I woke up at 6 50 so i could get off the ship early and shop but unfortuntly the shops werent good and they were closed. So we just waited til 9 to get off the ship. I got more sleep til 8 40 which was good. When we got off the ship we took a taxi to where we were going on the glass bottom boat. I though the bottom of the boat was going to be all glass but it was like four windows. It was till cool we got to see coral and alot of fish. We also saw a abandon ship. We had to be back on the boat at 12 30 which sucked. But at least we got to do something. When we got back on the ship we got lunch then got our bathing suits on so we could go down theslide cuz it was actually open, we waited 10 mins then almost at teh top they close it. A storm was coming. We were siting on the back deck, it started to pour. We just sat there ,everyonmes running to go under shelter and we just sat in the rain. Someone Yells " you know its raining" ha. We went in the pool, it was nice we were the only ones in the pool except for this one guy from NY. Took a shower. Went to dinner Formal night. I didnt goto the show for the night cuz it liek a play, but then we heard it was really good. We went to a late night comedy show which was good.
Friday August 6th- Day at sea. I was tired, we all slept til 11am. Me and andrew went to the gym, then 2 lunch. We layed in the sun for 2 hours. Then went to the show Karl with a K. Hes so funny. We went back out in the sun. Then got ready for dinner. We went to the points show then to dinner. I realized at dinner i lost our soda cards, which was alright since it was the last night. i was still pissed off they wouldnt give me another one. At dinner they announced my birthday which i missed cuz i ran to the bathroom. Then when i came back they had a cake for me and sung happy bday. We walked around the ship. Then went to the show, which was some lady singing. It was really good. Then we eventually went to the inprove show.After that i was like no way im going to bed , its lmost my birthday. So we stayed up and ordered 6 orange juices, and 4 spirts, you go figure. Haha. It was great.
I played the casino a little, not too much. Eventually like 2 15 we went to bed.
Saturday August 7th- My birthday..Yeahh! We got into nyc like 7am. We got off the ship around 11.Then my grandpa picked us up. My grandma got me a cake. We went home, i took a good nap. Then hung out with andrew. We saw that white castle movie, it was stupid but funny. My birthday was fun.
