what a weekend...
So Saturday night was the home opener... my mom and nephew went to the game with me and Maria...Rylee loves hockey... well, Tom A Hawk (the mascot) actually. But it's a start so maybe in a year or 2 he'll want to learn to play.
That game was alright... we won so I can't complain. My favorite parts were when Gordo got a goal, when Klinkhammer (our newest player we got from Seattle) got and empty net goal to seal the deal, and when one of the Kelowna players pushed over the linesman and ended up in the sin bin for it....
Sunday's game was a lot better cause it seemed like there was just more action... maybe it was us just trying to get the darn puck. We were playing a team that had better puck possion, was stealing our pucks when we passed, and just out shot us. We also got goals from Gordo and Klinks again... YAY!
The game went into a 12 round shoot out... the longest shoot out in league history. This made the game very nerve racking... thank goodness i'm only a fan and not one of the players... i would have cracked. All I got to say is THANK GOODNESS FOR KURTIS MUCHA FOR KEEPING US IN THE GAME!!!

Only 3000 people at the game which was really bad cause the game was on tv. BUT atleast we won and it'll show people that there is a team in Porltand that can win games.
Winning this game got us out of last place in the division and bumped us to 3rd. we're only 2 points behind Tri-City and 4 points behing Everett. Maybe this year won't be as bad as i think it'll be...
