My letter given was a G, from Ashley Esak.

Glastonbury: Town I've lived in all my life. Love it or hate it, its my home, and it'll always remembered as a comforting place to come back to years down the road.

Greatest Generation: The Greatest Generation, who are known as the senior citizens of the world, are quite an amazing bunch of people. Born during the depression mainly as first generation immigrant children, these people endured one of the greatest time periods of modern history. These were the hardworking teenagers of the depression. These were the soldiers of World War II. These were the breadwinners of the greatest upturn in quality of life of a people in the history of all history. You know them more commonly as "Grandpa". If you ever talk to any member of this generation, you find that even in their old age, theyre still full of young spark and life, and tend to be some of the smartest and funniest people in existence. Their humor is really dirty too!

Georgetown: name of the street I have lived on all my life. I'm one of those kids who has never moved. I have memories of this place from all segments of my life. I've had grand adventures just traveling to the other side of the block, and I know every nook and crannie that exists. I've seen people come and go, like my old best friend Andrew Nuzzolilli, and Jessica Ellis, and the ones that I've grown up with, like Elyse Vailancourt.

Gorgeous: I like things that are gorgeous. My girlfriend would be one of them. I find a particular fondness to water scenery, whether it be a mighty waterfall, or a serene glassy lake. Water just seems to be gorgeous no matter what.

Girlfriend: She is my support beam in life. Without her I wouldnt be so calm and relaxed. This month of May of junior year is death, and living through it with her makes it so much better.

George Gershwin: A great musical composer. He wrote one of the best songs of all time, Rhapsody in Blue, which I will always remember linked to my late uncle.

Gellin' Pads: Yeah, I'm gellin', and its because my legs are screwed up. Every time I run, I get the worst shin splints in the world, that shoot from my ankles, all the way to my lower back, which makes it impossible to run. So next time you see me running, know that I have the physical endurance to run for a long time, just not the leg capacity.

Grandma: Shes basically the best person ever. I spent summer days in the late 90's there all the time after morning swim team practice, and I regret not visiting her more often now, especially since she lives 7 minutes away in South Glastonbury. Her mac and cheese is unbeatable. She does aerobics, and is an avid poolshark. She loves the Uconn Huskies, New England Patriots, and Hartford Whalers. Oh, and her garden and porch have to be one of the most picturesque and tranquil places ever.

Garage: The 5 year old's home away from home. With seemingly endless uses, and endless rafters, my childhood imagination has created so many adventures, from Owl dens, to carwashes, to giant whale tanks, to subway stations, my garage is a keystone location in my childhood memories.

Grange Pool: Even though I was a Woodledge Whale from 96' to 04', the Grange Pool still holds find memories to me. It was one of my first early early childhood swimming places, where I really mastered what I learned in my lessons. The mystery of Cotton Hollow right beyond the reach of the fence, as well as the ice cream truck provided the backdrop for one of the best summer hangout spots ever. I loved the little pull-chord rinse shower right at the exit from the locker room to the pool.
