I've noticed a LOT more people this year talking about the whole politically correct "holiday" greetings...Why has society gotten so uber-sensitive?! I understand that not everyone celebrates the same holiday or any holiday at all this time of year, but does that mean that we have to tiptoe around every single sign of the season so as not to offend anyone EVER? So impossible. On the news the other day someone was talking about how you can't call it a Christmas tree anymore...and the other day at work this lady I was ringing up straight out told me she was going to file a class-action lawsuit against our store (and others) because she shouldn't have to listen to Christmas songs if she doesn't celebrate it. Ay yay...So on that note...I haven't sent out my Christmas cards yet, and yes they are blatantly Christmas cards, but to quote Big Rick Stuart (dj on the radio):
"From my own personal standpoint, I wish you all a Merry Christmas....I'm throwing the ball out there, and whether or not you catch it is up to you."
Happy December! :P
