Until today (10/4/2006), when I filed an update at the library, spanking and paddling were in the code of conduct for my county's school system.
a. Spanking or paddling will be:
1. administered by or under the direct supervision of the principal or his/her designee in the presence of an adult witness.
2. permitted only upon the authorization of the building principal.
3. resorted to only after all other disciplinary actions have been ineffective.
