Where the hell are they that the microfilms are in Japanese? Oh okay, in Japantown. Funny, I've heard of Chinatown but no other Asian varieties.
Vengeful Umbrella, good song title.
Boy, Dean is gonna be disappointed he went down Pfft, like Nathan? I sometimes love it when my brain stops halfway through a sentence.
I'm haveing trouble taking an umbrella attack seriously.
They flossed him? That shit's too heavy for sutures!
Funny, your Mythklok angel is a horrible pie glutton and this one doesn't even eat. Somewhere, in a yet unwritten fandom in between, you have an angel who eats normally, in moderation.

Bigger cities, like LA and San Francisco, will have a J-town. They got all PC up here, so we just have an "international district."

I can imagine Nathan talking into his little recorder. "And that happens forever!"
I'm haveing trouble taking an umbrella attack seriously.
Sam was mostly concerned that he was going to have a really, really lame tombstone.

Hahaha! They suture with floss all the time on the show, to the extent that it's a joke. "I need a penknife, some dental floss, a sewing needle, and a fifth of whiskey! Stat!"

I can see the wisdom of it, actually. It's made of silk and won't break/rip easily. You could actually sew heavy canvas with it and it will hold up well.
I'm just wondering how easy it would be to remove them. I don't think it can be absorbed, so they'd have to yank them out, right? That's gotta hurt.
I don't think they used cinnamon floss. THAT would hurt. :D
The other thing they did especially the first season was they'd give the boys grievous facial wounds, and then the next show, they'd be pretty again. No idea how they did that with floss and a fifth of whiskey. :D
The Scar specifically? No. All that was mentioned was that Charles spent some time with the Church being healed up during those nine months away and that was it. Since he had the Scar when he returned after nine months, there was no explanation as to why it disappeared suddenly.
Brendonuity or lazy animators, your choice.
As for Magnus, yeah it was kinda weak. If he had stabbed Nathan first and THEN got kicked out, that would make more sense.
Then again, all Nathan ever complained about on that album was the stupid "pink tomato soup color" on the cover. That was it! So then he drinks tequila, a whale tells him to destroy it and there we go. WEAK!
Nothing really made sense at all this season. I don't expect next season (or movie or whatever) to be any better.
I'll confess it here, 'cause no one much reads this any more: I just didn't feel much of anything when Toki got stabbed. "Oh, there's your cliffhanger." Everything this season seemed so contrived and out of character. Even when Charles uses the dead body for his fight, I was looking at my screen going, "Yep, Charles fangirl moment." I'm sort of sad that I'm not very concerned about the characters. *shrugs* But it sounds like most fans (or at least a lot of fans) really connected with it, so I'm mostly sorta keeping out of it. For me it was like, "let's make Pickles suddenly inept with women and Nathan suddenly refuse to make apologies so that can be a CONFLICT!"
Yup. The plots were weak/redundant, the pacing was way too fast, and after every episode I kept saying: "What the fuck just happened?"
The only thing season 4 is doing for me is making me want to fix it so that it makes sense.
If there's anything to blame for lack of quality this season, it would be Brendon's solo album. He spent so much time and effort putting that album together and promoting it, he had no time to spare for the show, which is why we got stuck with under-writers, recycled plots, and only a couple of songs for the entire season.
And now with the summer tour cancelled, studio time is going to be pushed way back, so I don't expect to see anything new until late 2013, if not later.

I've been writing a story in my head, but its gotten nowhere on paper so far.

I hear people twisting themselves in knots trying to make sense of the plot holes, but it just seems like the fundamental thing is Brendon didn't care.

I hope they at least finish it off. Though this wouldn't be the first time Cartoon Network kind of left us in the lurch. I expect it will get done, but you're right, it might be years.

Like Tiki says, Los Angeles County is big enough to have communities of just about every ethnic race out there... Chinatown - downtown area Little Tokyo - also downtown, right next to Chinatown Koreatown - also downtown...somewhere... Little Saigon - closer to me, in Gardena All the Filipinos live in an area of Carson, just northeast of me We used to have an area called Tortilla Flats, where the poor Latinos lived, but they tore those down and built some better apartments there. That was only a couple of blocks away from where I live now.
Our fun Indian neighborhood is way out in Orange County, in the city of Artesia. This is where I learned by grevious error to not eat the lemon pickle garnish.

Most of their explanations for stuff were a little underwhelming (to me). They kicked out Magnus ... because he was a dick.

I'm exaggerating. There's some fun Indian neighborhoods now because of Microsoft and all the tech workers.
