Hrm. I think Charles' is single-breasted. I wasn't able to find a cap of him full length, so I might have to check my DVDs

I'm pretty sure you're right. I only see one, solitary button at the top, instead of two.

You're buying random dolls just to strip them now?

Oh hells yes! *evil dollieh laugh* You always buy dolls to strip their cool stuff and leave the poor things naked.

Doll companies don't really sell many outfits any more, they sell almost all dressed dolls. Something about the price point. It's not like the Good Olde Days of vintage Barbie and monster cool outfits. So, if you're gonna play with your dolls, and not leave 'em sitting in the box, that's what ends up happening.

Just curious, who's the original overcoat owner? Reminds me of a pea coat, only longer.

And just a thought on the screencap. Charles has an overcoat and scarf, and poor assistant is still just in his suit jacket.

"Nope, you're not going to live long enough to need that, so we're not issuing you one..." ;_;

The poor doll doesn't even get a name (much like the ill-fated assistant manager). He's just a doll with a coat.

I noticed that too about the assistant manager - Charles gets a nice coat and gloves, the guys get snuggies, and the assistant gets to die horribly for Dethklok. :D

There was an amazing Steve McQueen doll a year or so ago who had a beautiful overcoat and scarf, but if I recall correct 1) the overcoat was khaki, not black, and the scarf was stripey, and 2) I think the doll was by How2Work, which means it was hideously expensive.

It was an awesome resemblance, though--looked just like a tiny Steve McQueen; How2Work does nice sculpts. I loved their Albert Einstein so much, I had to buy him. I need to get him a teeny violin to play.

Those sites with 1/6 figure/dolls are DANGEROUS! They make so many amazing ones nowadays, like the Hot Toys series. There's also a Che Guevara set (Che dressed in a Che T shirt) that makes me squee for the silliness.

I might just buy the outfit. Maybe Boon would like a Che T shirt?

I thought I used to have a teensieh red scarf. I think probably one of my Stitches made off with it!!!
