(no subject)

I bought some yarn and a crochet needle today. And an instruction book. I already know how to crochet the chain and the simple stitch (or whatever its called) but I want to make something other then a never ending line. I want to know how to make all the doilys and critters and outfits my grandmother knew how to make, but since she passed away in November and my other grandma (that left me the money) passed away last feb., there is no one left to ask :(

and WTF happened to the rest of my icons? they are missing..grrrr
