My new shiny is obviously In Plain Sight.
I also have my new shiny guy. Oh, Marshall Mann. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ He totally grows on you. Not that I didn't love him in pilot but he just grows and grows. He grows so tall. Tall like a tree that I want to climb and never ever let go.
Just so that you don't think I only love Marshall, Mary is ALSO very very awesome. In fact, Mary and Marshall are awesome together.

Well, as far as I've seen so far anyhow.
So. Mary's family. I couldn't stand Brandi and Jinx at all in the first season. OMG. So selfish and annoying and immature and yeah. But I couldn't believe the way they got on Mary's case after her KIDNAPPING. The kidnapping that was TOTALLY Brandi's fault. And then Jinx gets MAD at MARY for not wanting to lie for Brandi???!!! On the night she comes back?! WHAAAAT?!
And then! AND THEN!!!!! Jinx lies purposefully to destroy Mary's affection for her dad!!! WHAAAAAT?! And then when THAT backfires with Mary's letters from her dad she gets angry at her for hiding them!!!! ON THE SAME NIGHT!!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!
*flails*
Anyway. I'm half way through Season 2 and they seem to be getting better. Brandi's growing up a little and going out with Jeremy Will Peter. And going to school and making awesome cookies.
And what with Jinx doing well with rehab, I thought maybe they turned a new leaf but I just watched the episode with Mary and Brandi's half sister. And how Jinx convinced Brandi to hide the whole thing.
LE SIGH.
Oh. And what IS with their names? I mean what kind of parents name one kid 'Mary' and the next one 'Brandi'??? BRANDI!!!!! Perhaps their father named Mary and Jinx named Brandi.
