time flied when you're having fun!
today matt & i have been married 10 years!! i know....we look far too young!! lol!!
we'd been dating for 5 years before that, so about 15 years in total! :D
things are brilliant between us now, after my indescretions last year :( i know it's not just because of the baby (i really don't agree with the whole 'let's have a baby to sort out our problems' philosophy). if anything i think my straying was more to do with the fact that we were having problems having a child. i mean we had our first IVF treatment 5 years ago!
anyway...tonight we are off out for a nice meal and then to see my friend deryk's band (armoured cats). we haven't been out in a pub socialising for months. i know it will be smokey and noisy, but i'm looking forward to catching up with my friends :)
then we're staying in the flat for the first time in almost a month! the bedroom and lounge are fully decorated and matt & i assembled our gigantic (3m wide x 2m high) sliding door ikea wardrobes last night. we did everything except hang the doors. they are glass and metal and weigh a TON!! deryk's going to help matt hang them later :)
the joiner will be up next weekend to lay our wooden floors (for free!) and we can finally finish off the decoration in the hall (he's insisted on doing the job properly and removing the skirtings and running the wood underneath instead of putting 'beading' down (not complaining!)
i'm looking forward to our first night in our new pink and red bedroom :D
