Crazy fun weekend!!
I love long weekends!!
So friday night i went out for dinner/drinks with laura on commerical drive and ran into the always pleasant nicky and max. hanging out with laura is always interesting. good conversation, and even good silences. it's always nice when there's a lull in conversation, but it's not awkward.
Saturday. YAY saturday!!! Joline came out and we went to the drive, and i DIDN'T buy that dress i saw. too expensive. so i didn't even try it on in case i liked it too much. then we went to chinatown and i bought a tiki book so i might find a tattoo. then we went to gas town and then the water front. there was some festivities going on at canada place, but they were playing country bands...
and then the show! Mellowdrone played first, they were pretty interesting
and then ima robot, who i've seen before and are always fun. (even walked by the lead singer after the show at fresh slice pizza. he looks shorter up close)
and then she wants revenge!!! sooo fun, and i loved dancing to their songs. i felt so alive and free, and singing along was so fun. and joline had fun too. and man, just so good.
then sunday, i went out for a bit, but lazed around home mostly, then went out for coffee with laura, got a flat tire, changed tire, then had to fill the spare tire up. and i hope that holds till tomorrow when i can go get the tire fixed.
back to work tomorrow....
