1. What's your favorite line from a movie, and why?
"People"? I ain't "people." I am a - "a shimmering, glowing star in the cinema firmament." Lina Lamont from Singin' In The Rain. It just sums up this gal's whole persona, what she thinks of herself, and really, all of Hollywood's hype is rolled up into this one line. It doesn't hurt that she says it in a voice like a coquettish fishwife.
2. Who's your favorite villain from a movie, and why?
Any villain played by Basil Rathbone. He was such a smooth, stylish villain that sometimes you almost felt sorry for the bad guy.
3. Name one movie everyone else loves that you hate. Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace (though I was one of the weirdos that actually liked Jar Jar Binks)
4. Name one movie everyone else hates that you love.
Thunderbirds (2004). Yeah, it majorly screwed up canon, but it did bring new life to the fandom. The 'Birds themselves were great, and Lady Penelope and Parker were just FAB!
5. What's your favorite Pixar film, and why?
The Incredibles. The themes of family, living in the past versus living in the present, loving yourself for who and what you are, the fall of childhood idols, and the victory of good over evil--this film has it all. Wrapped up in fantastic animation and voice work. I can watch it over and over.
