Day 08 - A show everyone should watch
NCIS, The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
NCIS for reasons I've already explained. And The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (it's on DVD) because it's a science fiction western, with the versatile Bruce Campbell. Fun adventure, witty, not at all authentic - it's like a western B movie with some steampunk thrown in. And it's fun. Lots of fun.
Day 09 - Best scene ever
Third Rock from the Sun - dream episode, "Life has been good to me"
We didn't watch Third Rock from the Sun at all, but my husband has this thing about dream sequences, especially if they're funny. As a result, we have this on VHS, taped from the TV. It's a hilarious sketch among some other hilarious sketches (the aliens dream for the first time and don't know what a dream is.) but it's a peppy, whimsical musical number, complete with dancers and absurd scenery. My husband always fast-forwards to that scene, and chortles all the way through.
