A Rant Journal from the Mew? What is this I don't even-
Okay. So. My grandpa is visiting all the way over from Spain. I haven't seen him in like five years and he's cool and all and he gave me one of his dog tags from when he was a sergent general for vietnam, but really. there's just some times when I'm ready to have him go back already.
Why? Well he had to go and BRING THE WEATHER OVER WITH HIM. it's like 80*F/30*C outside right now. And it has been for the past week that he's been here. I CANNOT STAND THAT SORT OF HEAT. ESPECIALLY FOR SEVEN DAYS IN A ROW. I bake at that temperature. I'm white and paper covered in flour and I burn like an ant under a magnifying glass.
Speaking of insects the mosquitos have multiplied by like five billion and they get into the house EVEN WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. yeah we have a bug net in the door but they EVEN GET PAST THAT. I keep telling mom and grandpa to close the door but they're all NO I NEED THE FRESH AIR RADDA RADDA. Mom you know me well enough. I can easily survive downstairs with the door closed because of all the plants you have downstairs by the computer. Seriously this is the most oxygenated part of the house good god. There's no need to keep the door open all the time when stupid little annoying bugs can get in and fly around my tablet while I'm trying to draw.
The other thing I'm annoyed with is that since grandpa's here, mom's gotten SUPER STRICT ON ME. Two hours on the comp DAILY? fgsfds mom you know that I do pretty much 75% of my art on the computer. it takes me well over 16 hours to do ONE character painting ((which I'll be showing some below fyi :3)) and I have like..... at least 10 sites I check on daily, and my AGNPH buddies to yack to. How can I do all that in two hours, hmm? HMM?
Finally, grandpa has Skype. And he Skypes with his family in Spain. The only problem is that HE CAN"T SKYPE WITHOUT WEBCAMMING AT THE SAME TIME. uh, grandpa, I don't even USE my Webcam. I find webcamming kind of stupid actually. Skype is supposed to be like an extra phone. Not a Star Trek radio watchacallit. You talk with people like you talk over the phone. Simple. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO WEBCAM AT THE SAME TIME? Besides, webcaming really slows down the computer. Heck, trying to do a two way webcam convo makes my computer CRASH AND RESTART. It takes up way too much data that the comp can't handle it. I lost a bunch of sketches I did because of that. God I was annoyed like you wouldn't believe. SIGH.....
..... you know, I haven't taken my meds in a few days. I need them for my mood swings... yeah, that's probably another reason why I'm so irritated and everything atm 8U
OKAY ON TO HAPPIER THINGS THEN~
Well it's official. I'm addicted to the Ganbare Goemon / Mystical Ninja series. This is probably going to be the only ninja thing I'll ever like~ <3
HOW CAN I EXPLAIN IT? Well uhm.... it's set in feudal Japan, the main characters consist of a thief with a golden pipe named Goemon, a flaming homo named Ebisumaru, a robot ninja who is the cutest thing even named Sasuke ((who is five billion times better than another ninja by the same name~ F3)) a secret agent female green haired ninja named Yae, a dirty old man who makes robots named Wiseman, and a giant controlable robot that you fight other giant robots with named IMPACT!
I love this series it's so awesome and wacky and Sasuke is just the most adorable thing ever aaaaaa ;_; Plus he canonly dresses up in FEMALE MAID OUTFITS. ROBOTS IN MAID OUTFITS IS TOTALLY RELIVANT TO MY INTERESTS~ <3 I'm just looking at all this japanese fanart of him in his little frilly maid outfit and I'm all jealous of how awesome japanese artists can be holy man ;_; I love how they can do such pixely art on oekakis and make it look good. There's this one GoeSasu picture that I absolutely LOVE omg just the way it's drawn is just... holy man I love it ;_;
.... OKAY ENOUGH FANMEWING OVER NINJABOTS LET'S MOVE ONTO ART~
Recently I've been doing a lot of character paintings, where I just paint a single character. Digital painting is really theraputic for me, so I've been doing it quite a lot~ Here's some of the images I've done~ All of these images are 1/4th of the original size I drew them at.
King from Cave Story. This is actually more based on his new sprite from the upcoming Wii version. You can see thathe has whiskers in it :3
A Keaton from the Legend of Zelda: Majora's mask. Keatons are so cool omg those freaky.. fox things 8U KITSUNES OR WHATEVER THEY ARE.
Muddy Mole from an old Game Boy puzzle game called Mole Mania. I remember playing it when I was really little and I coluld never beat it cause the puzzles were way too much for my puny 8 year old brain. I recently found an LP of it and it brought back childhood memories so hooraaayyyyy~
.... not a painting, but it's based off of this part on an LP that I love IT IS JUST SO SILLY THE WAY THE COMMENTATORS WERE ACTING~
Ebisumaru:*in an empty house with Sasuke .... I guess Obisumaru isn't in this town.
Sasuke: *slicing at a drawer* Panty raid~
Ebisumaru: YOU SHEE NOSHING YOU SHEE NOSHING! ..... *turns to Sasuke* Ish for your old man, ishn't it?
Sasuke: .... Master gave me a mission! I MUST COMPLETE THE MISSION! How does this mysterious object work!? GRRR!
Ebisumaru: Ish called a drawer. You pull it outwardsh by the handle, like thish- Oh wat you only have ballsh for hands, nevermind!
