Clean Uberhood: Belladonna County Courier Special: Society and Sims
Originally I planned to include these snippets in the first issue of BCC, but it got way too much. So you get this special, Sunday edition of Belladonna County Courier now with a lot of juicy gossip, fashion and the exclusive coverage from the wedding of Consort Capp and Betty Goldstein.

The Capp Wedding
The biggest and most talked about society event in Beladonna County took place on a lovely autumn afternoon at Capp Manor in Veronaville. The mighty business tycoon Consort Capp had found new love in Betty Goldstein of Riverblossom Hills.
The guest list was equal to 'Who's who in Belladonna County'. Just everybody of importance was there. And the guests were on high spirits. The romantic atmosphere was contagious.
Hermia Capp - already known as a bit of a rebel among the society kids - had decided to wear a pajamas for the wedding. And we did see a Monty crashing the party, too.
(I really don't know, what happened between Hermia and Mercutio there, but seems that they decided to end their relationship and just be friends. Or maybe Merc does not even want to be friends with her.)
You can see that Mary Sue and Daniel Pleasant and Linda and Frances Worhington were infected by the romance bug.
But stop the press: Roth marriage is in crisis!!
(As a spoiler I can tell that Stella Roth is carrying Daniel's baby, so I naturally assumed she was upset by him kissing Mary Sue, but no.)
Stella Roth caught her husband Morty - the famous explorer - fooling around with the young Edith Worthington. As we all know the two families are very close, and the ladies' , Linda and Stella, friendship goes all the way back to their school days.
The secret relationship of Morty Roth and Edith Worthington - read more later in this issue! We have already dug out all the sordid details of this triangle drama!

Luckily the incident did not spoil the mood of the other guests as they waited for the ceremony to begin.
The groom was handsome in his pinstriped grey costume and the bride wore a rather revealing red and burgundy dress designed especially for her by no less than the famous Eve Sim-Laurent.
As the couple said their vows it was easy to see how happy, even ecstatic, they were with each other.
The party continued in a very traditional fashion...
... with wedding cake (from the Jacquet bakery in Bluewater Village).
Aww, what a sweet couple!
A union of four mighty families: Morty Roth, Malcolm Landgraab IV, Miranda Capp and the young Alexander Goth enjoying the delicious cake. As you can see, pinstripe is the thing of the season for fashionable sim men.
The younger generation was well represented: Juliette Capp and Sandra Roth will shortly be taking over the position of their parents in the spotlight.
The bride could not take her eyes off of her husband.

Consort's hotness did not escape the eye of the service personnel either. And pinstripe is really the thing!
The Capp sisters Goneril and Regan were of course among the guests. Goneril wore a slinky black dress - a rather safe choice according to our fashion reporter - while Regan relied on Eve Sim-Laurent like the bride.
Regan's husband Cornwall had a long conversation with Mortimer Goth...
... but did not forget to pay attention to his wife either.
The persistent rumours of the Pleasant marriage being in a crisis seemed exaggerated.
Linda Worthington looked stunning in her slinky green satin dress (by Simmani) and her husband Frances II seemed to agree.
Mr Andrew Martin - a close friend of the bride - was present with his fiancee Lola Curious-Smith. The newly engaged couple could not hide their love for each other.
The bar was stocked with champagne and other drinks. Though we do think someone should have kept an eye on the teenagers...
Too many of them were seen with a drink in their hands.
The son of the groom, Kent Capp, came out of the closet with a bang.
He displayed his passion towards the local young artist Cyd Roseland openly, though the possibility of a guy threesome seemed to hang in the air.

It was a joyous event with happy faces everywhere. Mothers had fun ...
... with their children.
But whoops, Miranda Capp and Sandra Roth wore a similar dress! What a nightmare it must have been for the young beauties. It's easy to understand that Miranda was furious.
Among the lovefest there was one discord - young Mercutio Monty was not on a party mood. Will the Capp-Monty feud raise it's ugly head again?
The guests were on high spirits, when the party ended just before the darkness fell over Veronaville.

Ajay Loner

Our reporter Priya Ramaswami met the handsome young lawyer downtown Belladonna for a lunch and a chat.
Priya: "Ajay, you have recently moved to our city, but I've already heard a lot of rumours about your conquests among the fairer sex. You are quite a ladies' man, aren't you?"
Ajay: "Well, the rumours are just rumours. In fact I lead a relatively quiet life and concentrate on advancing on my career. But I've had the luck of making a lot of friends already and they have welcomed this newcomer with open ... arms."

Priya: "Well, tell our readers about your 'quiet life'! What is a typical day in the life of Ajay Loner like?"
Ajay: "Well, yesterday for instance, I left for work early as usual."
"First I had a few meetings with some prospective customers...
... and after lunch I studied marriage law and marriage counseling." (He wanted to to that.)
Priya: "In case you get in trouble. I've heard you have already gotten involved with married ladies..."
Ajay: "No, no, no. My interest is purely professional. I want to stay on top of new legislation in the field."
Priya: "I'm not sure I quite believe you, hi, hi... But we'll leave it to that. Tell me, what do you do on your free time!"
Ajay: "Yesterday after work I called an old friend over. An athlete who has also moved to Belladonna Cove recently."
"We share an interest on physical activities and we refreshed old memories. What a great time we had!"

"Then I had a call from a new friend (Marisa Bendett), whom I had met during lunch break at a diner.
We had a relaxing soak in the hot tub, which was just what I needed after a hard day at work.
I also bumped into some other friends...
...who joined us in the hot tub. My mates were quite eager to get to know each other.
So we all bonded over mutual interests. You know what it's like, typical guy talk..."
When I got back home, a customer showed up at my door.
(A 'booty visit' by Cleo Shikibu. I don't remember how or when they have met and become so intimate...)
It was already late, but I just can't refuse to help a sim in need. So I tried to give my best and...
... I think my customer left well pleased with my help."
Priya: "You really do seem to work hard!"
Ajay: "I'm not afraid of work,. I'm eager to take on new challenges. I've only just started at the Tellerman, GilsGarbo & Tellermans, but I intend to reach the top as soon as possible. If it means working late, so be it!"
(Yes, he really had three ladies in a day - quite a stud! The Kristen thing actually happened the day before. )
"I have already established a small but loyal clientele...
... and my help has proven valuable for them on several occasions, I'm happy to say."
"And satisfied customers introduce me to new ones."
(Cynthia asked Ajay out and brought along Lillian Worthington, the oldest sister of Frances III by strange_tomato .)
(And once again two ladies in a row during one outing. All woohoos have been autonomous, by the way. These days I almost never direct my sims to woohoo, they do that quite enough all on their own.)
"So far I have been really lucky and had no set backs on my career. Although some last minute maneuvers have once or twice been necessary to avoid complications and to reach a satisfying result for all parties involved."
(Like in the above situation, where Cleo's romantic actions kept on popping up on Ajay's queue. I kept him firmly seated there.)
Priya: "Fascinating! What do you think is the secret of your success?"
Ajay: "Hard work, of course and tactfulness. My parents taught me to say and do the right thing at the right time. I'm diplomatic and discreet. And reliable and honest, of course."
Priya: "Of course. And handsome and charming...Hi, hi. But that's enough of your professional life. I'm sure our readers want to know, what are your plans on the personal level. Do you want a wife? Kids?"
Ajay: "I'm not in a hurry to commit myself at this young age. I like change, not chains. "
"But at times, when I'm alone at home with just my books and my computer to keep me company, I feel the need of a trusty companion. Someone to give affection, attention and care to. Someone who'd love me back unconditionally. So, in the long term, I'm definitely in the look out for someone special."
(That was Ajay's want panel when I entered his lot. And that's Gabby, the Kim family dog. So he fancies both the mistress and the dog...)
Priya: "Hear that, single ladies of Belladonna County! You still have hope... But I get the feeling, that you have already met the one you are talking about."
Ajay: "Ahem...Let's just say, that I find some women more fascinating than others."
Priya: "I can tell you, dear readers, our hunky bachelor is blushing right now!"
Ajay: "As I said earlier, I'm young and definitely won't be committing myself to anyone in the near future. And having children can wait even longer. My goal right now is to earn a lot of money (100 000 simoleans to be precise) to support a family later on."
(These conversations took place right after Ajay and Lillian woohooed in the hot tub. Funny that they both chose a Capp - Kent and Regan - as their confidant.)
Priya: "I noticed that you glanced at you watch. I'll have to let you get back to your work. I'm sure that our readers are as pleased as I to have gotten a glimpse of the real Ajay Loner. We all wish you the best in your future endeavours."
(At this moment Ajay has five simultaneous loves, which he has acquired all on his own. And he has 15 two-bolt attractions on his friendship panel. Talk about an attractive guy!)

Hot right now in men's coiffure - The Mohawk
This autumn and winter several sim men have shaved their hair quite unexpectedly. It seems that the Mohawk is the thing!
John Burb, the quiet stay-at-home dad, decided to spruce up his look. He went for the Mohawk, of course. Sexy, sighed our female staff in unison.
Herb Oldie demonstrates that age is just a number. You can be fashionable even as an elder with the Mohawk.
(I had to reinstall windows and consequently the Sims, too. I took the opportunity to weed out some CC hair and changed most of the remaining styles into Simgaroop's retextures. This has given my sims some amusing makeovers.)

The Roth marriage in shreds
On the surface Stella and Morty Roth seem a perfectly happy couple. But as the recent rumours have shown, that is just an act. BCC's persistent team has now revealed, what really goes on behind the perfect facade.
Morty Roth has often been seen out and about with his friend Armand DeBateau.
Mr DeBateau, a bachelor, knows how to use the photo booth correctly, but
... the married Mr Roth has found a dirtier way to make use of the booth with the willing assistance of young Edith Worthington.

(I found the situation hilarious. Imagine being cheered on by your own mother in an intimate situation like this. :D :D)
The Roths and the Worthingtons are very close friends and they often visit each other on Sundays.
(I tried to set Edith and Morty up, but they behaved so well when their families were around. They saved the drama for the Capp wedding.)
According to sources close to the Roth family, Morty Roth's adultery has been a frequent topic at breakfast in the Roth household.
But we have established that Stella Roth is not a saint herself either. While her husband is on his explorations all over the world, she has often been seen having fun with her best friends Linda Worthington, Daniel Pleasant and Malcolm Landgraab IV - nice foursome, we say! Wine and champagne have flown freely during these outings.
The highly intoxicated Ms Roth has reportedly made use of the photo booth with both Daniel and Malcolm...
... as well as with many other sim men.
But her charm does not work on everyone.

(A side note:
In my mind Stella Roth and Linda Worhington have been friends from childhood. They both are spoiled daughters of wealthy families, who have experienced their débutante balls together etc. Stella has been the leader and Linda the admiring follower.
While Linda was first to know of the adultery of her best friend's husband...
... also Stella knows a similar secret of Linda's husband Frances III. She observed from close quarters Frances fooling around with Marissa Cleveland.
Stella also let Frances know that she knew. lol)
Philanderous politician:
Mary Sue Pleasant's secret liaison
Mary Sue Pleasant - the rising star in Belladonna politics and the wife of the famous athlete Daniel Pleasant - has been seen emerging from the photo booth in Red's Famous 50's Diner with the newly appointed chief of staff of Belladonna General Hospital Timothy Riley.
According to the eyewitnesses the couple seemed very flushed but on high spirits, so here in the BCC office there's no doubt what they had been up to.
Later the couple joined Julien Cooke and Frances Worthington III for dinner. Our sources overheard young Mr Worhington inquiring for details of the encounter in the photo booth.
He seemed to want his share of the pie and made quite forward advances to Mary Sue Pleasant.
The young Wothington was firmly rejected!
However Mrs Pleasant welcomed similar advances from Julien Cooke quite willingly.
This encouraged Frances Worthington to retry romancing the older woman, but Mary Sue would have none of it from her young admirer. Poor guy, we suggest that he'd keep to women of his age in the future.
With regards to the liaisoin between the politician and the attractive doctor, we have established that they have carried on with the affair for quite a while.
In the light of the recent rumours of also Mary Sue's husband Daniel philandering with Stella Roth (see above the gossip about her), will the Pleasant couple still have a future together? Worst reputation: Daria Curious
According to our survey conducted last month Daria Courious (nee Wheeler) is the sim with the worst reputation in Belladonna County. She is notorious for making trouble and fighting all over town.
And we have a feeling that she does not mind her bad reputation at all. In fact, she hopes to annoy her fellow citizens even more. What a BITCH! We would not want to be her neighbours!
(I've never seen the want to have a bad reputation before. And it gives 5000 aspiration points and a lot of influence, too, LOL!)
