Maxis_taste dare #11 - Young McGreggor Had a Harem...
This is my second take on thismaxis_taste challenge.
In her Maxis breeding experiment madame_ugly bred Dora Ottomas with Leod McGreggor and Leod's round cheeks won over even the Ottomases ugly features.
In my experience Leod's genes are strong and he produces really adorable kids with pinchable cheeks. I wanted to conduct this breeding experiment to test just how dominant Leod McGreggor's features really are.
This is Leod McGreggor surrounded by his harem - the Capp women, Goneril, Regan, Miranda and Hermia (And no, Marla Biggs has no part in this. See, she's still thinking about her engagement to Chester Geike). With her eyes gleaming, Hermia explains that she is eager to get started with what ever they are supposed to do here.
To get things really moving on, Goneril starts flirting with Leod. He is not amused and Hermia and Miranda are shocked! Regan, a married woman and so old, too (the girls' opinion, not mine. And please ignore the continuity errors with Hermia's and Miranda's looks). Regan, playing in the puddles in the background, is apparently oblivious of the happenings, but ...
...when Miranda is queuing to hit on Leod, Regan is faster. She congratulates him for his adultery (Leod is married to Tara Kat) - not so oblivious after all, that sly woman.
She obviously wanted to make herself feel better about cheating on Cornwall, because it was her turn to try her moves on Leod. And now he was receptive - I guess Regan's compliments had put his mind at ease.
And then Miranda finally had her chance. Leod was putty in her hands...
... and answered with a wolf whistle (which made his cheeks even rounder than usual, heh).
The Capps are a grouchy bunch - they don't only attack the Montys but their own, too. I guess Hermia does not approve of Regan cheating on Albany.
To prevent a real fight starting I directed Hermia to flirt with our "sultan". They have negative chemistry (the others have two bolts with Leod, if I remember right), but the romancing goes well.
This harem is a magical place - after each flirt a chime could be heard!
And in no time at all there was the first baby pop.
This picture is here just to show, how gorgeous Regan Capp is. I really can't understand, how some people think that this beauty with such delicate features and colouring is ugly!
More pops. Hermia is blissfully ignorant of the fact that she'll soon be exchanging her cool dress and boots for the ugly Maxis pregnancy outfit.
The magic of the harem continues: within just minutes of her firs pop Goneril goes into labour. I think that at this point Leod is starting to suspect foul play. Frightened by Goneril's moaning he throws a worried glance to his left and what does he see...
A sea of maternity wear (Hermia did pop at last)! No wonder he looks so worried.
And Leod was right to be worried. Immediately after Goneril gave birth to a baby girl - Scrobona - Miranda went into labour, too.
When Miranda finally held her daughter Mathilde in her arms, Hermia seems to take position...
...and at the same time Regan starts moaning. Leod seems to be panicking right there.
No one notices that also Hermia in in pain. Everybody is preoccupied with something else: the now-calmed-down Leod with the hotness that is Goneril, Miranda with her newborn baby and Goneril by he sister's distress.
See, Hermia is as abandoned in the background as poor little Scribona, who is left lying on the cold, hard floor.
Fortunately Leod promptly takes his daughter into his strong arms. What a good father! Regan takes in that beautiful sight.
And here are all the brown-haired and brown-eyed new born babies in one of their parents' arms (from left to right): Cordelia, Mathilde, Hector and Scribona (all names found in the Capp/Norman family tree).
Without further a do, it's transition time!
Mathilde is an image of her father. Almost all Leod's kids look like this in my game. Look at those adorable pinchable cheeks.
Cordelia looks also almost like her farther with some input from mother Hermia.
Scribona on the other hand is truly a mother's girl - surprise there.
And little Hector here also shows off distinct Capp features. "Hey, sis, give me hug!"
Aww - this never gets old for me. (The relationships really are complicated here: while Hector and Cordelia are siblings, Hector is also Hermia's, Cordelia's mother, cousin.)
No time to waste. Simultaneous transition is followed by...
... simultaneously taking in the delicious aroma of freshly made hamburgers.
Is Scribona jealous of Cordelia's cuteness? Anyway that stare is creepy!
Hector. Shall we say that he looks interesting...
Mathilde, cute as a button.
Poor Scribona grew into that boring Maxis hair, so I took pity on her and gave her a makeover. Much better now! The bangs conveniently cover up her creepy eyebrows.
I don't know why I bothered with the makeover, because it's birthday tiemz again.
Poor Scribona seems to be still suffering from inferiority complex. That's the only explanation I can find for her disgust in front of the mirror.
But she does not look that bad to me.
Mathilde - still cute in that Mickey Mouse hair.
Cordelia's bob helps to hide her odd cheeks.
And Hector is still interesting. He reminds me of some old movie star - Errol Flynn maybe?

Hector seems to be wondering why his cake is different from the others. (Yes, I'm an idiot and almost always give my boys the blue candles.)
The girls are ready to go while Hector Flynn is still punching an invisible villain, pirate or something...
Well, the girls sure are not going to wait for him (or any other man for that matter). They are independent Capp women!
Nice transition outfits there! A makeover is definitely needed.
And now I give you mother and child portraits (daddy had already left):
Miranda and Mathilde Capp. Mathilde is a female copy of Leod McGreggor and a testament of his strong genes.
Hermia and Cordelia Capp. Almost nothing inherited from the mother here either, although she must have some influence on Cordelia's funny cheeks.
Goneril and Scribona Capp. They could be twins, but aren't Scribona's cheeks slightly rounder than Goneril's? I think I detect Leod's genes there. By the way, Scribona is a fortune sim, hence the power suit. She looks like she'll make her family proud in the future.
Regan and Hector Capp arm in arm. In my eyes Hector is a combination of his parents' genes: eyes and eyebrows from Leod, nose and mouth from Regan.
And a profile picture to show off Hectors serious nose.
In conclusion: Leod's genes are pretty dominant. In my opinion only one of these kids - Hector - is not displaying the influence of his cheeks. My sample here is pretty limited, so this might warrant some further experiments. ;)
