I want to take care of Kya. This book is depressing me. (Where the Crawdads Sing)
Meanwhile, I went to the hospital I am getting my surgery at to get my blood draw, SURPRISE! they were on lockdown due to coronavirus I was like are you effing serious? Handicapped entrances were blocked you could only go in certain entrances I was like gotta be some kinda violations here pandemic or not. So I walked a hell of a lot farther then I had to, I could see where I had to go through the set of doors they had closed off and they made me go all the way around through a security check point and the like ugh. The lady in reception that checked me in was like yeah NEWS to us too most of us were late to work today as well, they sent an email later at night the night before, who checks work emails at night right? so let's just inconvenience EVERYONE.
*** To their credit I was offered a wheel chair but I'm stubborn and I was like I'd like to stay upright while I still can in case knockonwood I become non weight bearing as of Monday- so they did offer
Then I was like oh great Dad went to park I hope he can find his way around, but he came to see me at the hospital he was not the one in the bed there so he found it just fine. While I was sitting there waiting Mom called to let me know she got a ride home from work thank goodness the roughest part of my day was just beginning!
Dad drove all the way back to his house from Albany I got my car back and then got gas and pizza at the Cumberland Farms out by his house then headed home to let Keeba out to pee and decided to take her with me on my way to Glens Falls for my allergy shot. So yeah first went an hour south to Albany, then 15 mins home. Now headed 30 mins north to Glens Falls. Got the allergy shot easy peasy, but on my way home my radio went all to hell. The entire console shut off so no GPS nothing I was like WONDERFUL so it was a quiet ride home with the dog whining intermittently, so stress to the max there. Got home took my bath and laid down for a nap thankfully not having to wake up and go get Mom I slept like a rock.
When I did wake up I went online and read about what my car was doing- apparently it's a common thing, and people suggested what to do about it so when I went out to light the grill for dinner I sat in my car and monkied with it and it WORKED! I got my Lewis Capaldi CD out of the stuck broke down part and was like okay so I guess he doesn't go in there, my biggest annoyance was like I really don't have a chance to go to the dealership right now to have them look at it. So *fingers crossed* it will behave for now.
Watching Survivor then bed.
Tomorrow is the last day of normalcy, Aqua PT and the likes, and then Friday I stop the Naltrexone, I begin the body wipes, and the cream stuff up my nose for three days, and MONDAY IS THE DAY ahhhhhhhh.
And now Albany med has my blood so they can match antibodies if they need them and have all that ready too.
