Tigs gets hot in the kitchen
Ok I'm slow jumping onto the get your kitchen organized bandwagon for a woman of my age. I know this. Most of my friends have had their kitchens set up for years. However, I'm really just now getting into having non-prepackaged foods on hand and doing some real cooking.
Plus this is the first time I've had room to actually organize and have extra food on hand and not have to store it under my bed or in the garage.
So I was making cookies and I was thinking about how I hate how my sugar is in a ziplock bag and how I wanted to do something about it. Then I remembered Modular Mates from Tupperware and I wondered if they even still made it. It's been since I was still at home that I've been to a Tupperware party and a lot can change in that many years.
I was delighted to see that they not only still make them but that they seem much more affordable to me now that I'd really have a purpose for them instead of using them to store already prepackaged food.
Then I found this chart (warning opens PDF).
So now I can go..hm..I usually keep 10 lbs of flour on hand so I know which size I need. SO FREAKING HOT!! I can't wait until I have some other stuff taken care of and can think about making my pantry all organized with Modular Mates.
