Yesterday my assistant manager came in the office and was telling me a story he'd heard on the news. Seems some people in Japan were sold sheep (or lambs in some versions) as poodles.
When I was done working I started reading my friends list. As I'm a member of several fiber communities this story was in a couple of places. Hm says I. This doesn't sound plausible. One person commented that they had checked Snopes and there was no report of it there. So I thought, "lets wait a day or two"
Sure enough. Today Snopes has
debunked the myth.
I can have faith in humanity for another day.
