"Supernatural" unfinished

Eventually, I'm pretty sure this would be worthy of an R rating.  I'm also pretty sure I had a plan, but I didn't write it down.

He was seventeen when they found him, shivering in the basement; he was twenty-five when he walked out under his own power, madder than Caligula.
He had no name but the one they’d given him: John Billingsly, based on where he’d been found. He had no past, no history he knew. he was often angry or nervous, and nervous shifted to anger easily.
He should not have left the Center, but the doctors could think of no reason to keep him anymore.

He did not think of himself as John. the only name he had in his head was Sammy, but he never told anyone. He didn’t believe himself to be Sammy, though.
It was the only clue to whatever happened before the basement, and he clung to it.

Before the basement… in the Center, the doctors demanded every detail of his time in the darkness. He would only be fed if he spoke, only be allowed to bathe if he held nothing back. so he told them of the pain and the blood and the knives. He told them of the pain and the fear and the never-ending stream of strangers who took and took and took-the doctors blanched and shuddered, but his voice never faltered.
They found him shivering in the basement with no name, no past. So they placed him in the Center to be fixed, to be mended, to be pieced back together.
But he was too jagged, too broken, and only he knew it.
