WTF? U.S. Secretary of State announced that Kiev is ready for a truce
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced that Kiev authorities are ready for a ceasefire in the east of Ukraine. U.S. Secretary of State made the remarks after meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, reports RIA Novosti.
“Ukrainians are ready to accept a mutual ceasefire - now, not in the future, but now,” - said Kerry. The cease-fire should occur on the basis of the peace plan of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
I am a little confused here. Why U.S. Secretary of State is announcing the readiness of Ukraine to cease fire? Do Americans already openly count Ukraine as the 51st state?
