Alas...
Well it's finally happened, Noire's hard drive has crashed. I should say, corrupted actually. I'm not going into the long of what we think happened, but my brother is attempting to salvage as much data off of it as possible. It doesn't look good though.
Now I know people say to back up your important documents, which I do...every few months. I had been thinking it was time to do so again, but then this happened. I think I need to back things up more frequently or get a second hardrive to store a copy of my first hard drive on.
At this point, it doesn't matter too much. I've lost a huge amount of pictures out of my downloads files, which may or may not still be recoverable. The bottom line is that I'm no longer able to do work on Noire. Luckily, Arashi is letting me borrow her computer for internet. (Thanks hon.) I just won't be doing much until I get Corbeau, my little computer my boss bought all the employees for X-mas, up and running. It needs some more RAM though and a second hard drive before I'll work with it though. (My boss doesn't know how to shop for good computers or ones that will do more than just run solitare. I'm still grateful that she got me it though. Very grateful.)
