(no subject)
Good later afternoon. How's everyone's day been? Mine has been pretty good. I'm just enjoying the silence of my dorm area. My house mate are all gone all day, so its been perfect to try and clean a little as well as meditating and what not. I kind of like being alone in the big house, its peaceful. Not that I don't miss my house mates because I would if they were gone all the time, but I know they'll be back. I'm worried that Kara is having trouble finding a friend group, she's been gone every weekend since she's been on campus. She can hang out with my friends though ^_^ and maybe she's got all the friends she needs up with her bf in Troy. Meh, as long as she seems happy its all good.
Looks like there are a few non-fluffy pagans in my new gaia guild and they are really nice. I like that guild because it doesn't take much in it to look smart. I just have to be careful to be nice is all. I want to view my thoughts and info without coming on to "you're wrong" ish.
Walmart trip was sucessful yay me.
Aj came to visit me, he wanted to go to the movies, but there isn't anything to see. It is all crap. Well, at least I think it is and I'm kind of strapped for cash so....yeah. We're going to go to the alternative theatre to see Pan's Labyrinth on Sunday anyway, and that one sounds like its going to rock my socks.
Everyone was out drunk and playing in the snow. I was worried someone would get hurt. I know I wasn't the one on duty, but I still don't want people hurt and their roving bands were being really loud. I approached a couple of them, but there was no reasoning with them. Good people but we're all a little unreasonable while drunk, and no one was bleeding so who am I to be the mom and tell them to be careful. Gosh I'm such an old person sometimes.
I got a neat paturn for a shawl to knit. I might make it my next project, but I've got to finish my bag first. It's almost done, and by that I mean I'm about 3 inches away from half way done. It's exicting because I'm almost where I was when I had to restart.
My next thing to learn should really be crochet. There are so many more patturns for crochet than knitting and I bet it isn't that difficult. Though who knows, I could be wrong. I also want to learn to make pillows. Kara says it is easy to do, and I love pillows. I could have so much fun with that ^_^. Besides pillows are really expensive.
