[Anna hadn't had a very good couple of weeks - and had mostly been trying to stay out of the public eye. She didn't want to deal with people, but...

She was out, now, wandering the Keep and heading towards the springs. It was...a good place to relax, and be alone.]

[Unfortunately for Anna, she would not be alone here in the springs. Nick was already there, sitting at the edge of a pool, with his legs dipped in the water.

When he spies her, he smiles and waves. She always manages to inspire just a twinge of fear in him. But it's abating. Thankfully.]

[Anna hesitates at first, but eventually comes up next to him when she sees his smile.]

Bonjour, Nick.

[The smile is still in place and he pats the place beside him.]

Would you like to join me?

[Anna nods, and comes forward the rest of the way and moves to sit next to him.]

Yes, thank you.

[She'd been looking more to spend time alone, but Nick was good company.]

[Being alone so much is bad for your health, Anna.]

Did you make it through the darkness okay?

I...yes. I did not...go out and explore. It seemed safest, in my room.

Good. I was worried.

[He got lost ;;]

Those labyrinths? Very dark. I did not like it.

[Too much like the bigger cages back home. Shudder.]
