I'm watching Must Love Dogs
I had a really good day. No really, I did. It started at seven thirty this morning when I realized that there was no reason for me to get up that early to shower before work because I was just going to get gross working out right after, so I went back to sleep and get up a little later and went to work.
The sun was warm and the shade was cool and Laura and I took turns napping and watching the pool, and it rocked. Eventually, a bunch of people shower up to do private lessons, and we made a sign-up sheet for a Lifeguard Dinner, and a lifeguard party announcement for Monica's house next week.
Hehe, this movie is funny.
Anyway, I brought up what kind of goggles everyone had, since they're all actual swimmers, and we decided what I should get, and then I went to Dick's and got them. When I went to swim to try them out, I discovered they were awesome, and I was so pleased that I resolved to swim an entire mile and I did. I DID. I'm pretty sure it's the most I've ever swam, and it took a really long time, but I did it and I'm proud, damnit.
I'm reading A Million Little Pieces. My life is so much less fucked up than this guy's life. And it sounds horrible, but it makes me feel better. Sorry, it just does.
I got mad at Katie and she didn't know why and then we yelled and then talked a lot and then I cried and I felt horribly stupid, so when we got off the phone I called Dan and we took an extremely brief walk and talked for a bit and I felt a bit better. Now I have to get back to this movie because it's horribly distracting.
