Sarah Palin is everywhere! I was online and had it in my email (the same post, no less!) and I figured I would log in to LJ to see something a little less... Palin. Well, it just reinforces what I've been thinking since she was chosen as McCain's running mate. Palin's getting a lot of negative press. It's too bad - I think (besides her right-wing stance) that she's probably not a bad person. She seems like a person that I could happily agree to disagree with - except in the case where she would actually be a policy maker! I have many acquaintances who share views with Palin, and it doesn't seem to affect our relationship... but even still.

Oh, well... it will certainly be interesting to see how things shape up. If they even do...

I definitely agree with you that she isn't a bad person; there are very few people I would stick with that label. But is she VP material?

I'd feel a little better about it if I weren't absolutely convinced that the ONLY reason she was picked as a running mate was because of her genitalia. I don't CARE about genitalia in a presidential ticket, I want someone who, unlike our current president, will do the job WELL.

I think at this point it's impossible to separate her politics from her... uh... genitalia (hee hee!) She is so staunchly PROVEN right wing and a woman - I'm sure that the plan was that the politics would be overlooked because of her parts and pieces, but obviously that's backfiring.

I don't think she's VP material - I think she's out of her league entirely. It will be interesting to see how she responds to this if they win. Although I hope they don't.
