I just got off work, everyone buying last minute Easter cards, plush and chocolates for their loved ones. While my Dad is at my Aunt's house eating yummy food and having a good time, I am home ALLLLLLLL ALONE, eating a veggie dog wrapped in a piece of Weight Watchers bread *sob*. Oh well, I guess I will get to see my fam some other time this summer.
It's not all bad though, I cut some of my hair off (ok, a lot) using these thinning scissors. They're pretty cool, no length comes off, just the bulky hair. I have the thickest hair ever. Every hairdresser I've ever been to says this. "Are you Italian? Greek? You're hair is so freakin' thick!!" I would usually go to a salon to get a cut, but I had a very bad experience about a year ago, and still refuse to set foot in a salon!
It's James' birthday next week, and at first I was going to plan a Godfather themed party (it's his favourite movie). I never thought my request for a bloody horses head cake would be refused by so many bakeries! They all looked at me like I was crazy. I tried to explain to them.. you know, "Have you ever seen/heard of the movie The Godfather?" Nope, NO pastry chefs in Toronto/GTA have seen the movie, I swear. Plus, James doesn't really like pasta or authentic Italian food.
So instead, I'm taking him to a fancy restaurant where the waiters wear white gloves n' shit. We're so classy. There's this place at Jane & Finch called Funstation Funpark (best name ever, obviously fun will be had) where they have 2 mini golf courses, a really long go-kart track and arcade games. We went there last summer and it's soooo much fun! So I may take him there, or maybe Playdium. Then I'm going to decorate the condo Luau style with tropical drinks etc :D At first, I really wanted to do a Brokeback Mountain theme party.. which would've been hilarious. But alas, it is HIS birthday afterall, and he wouldn't want to wear a cowboy hat, and matching shirts which say 'I can't quit you' on them for an entire day. And the present.. well I'm just going to get him the Godfather game for PC. He'll enjoy that.
We're going to Riverdale Farm tomorrow, which I'm super excited about! Maybe I'll take pictures this time, instead of video. Ok, time to go and dye my thick Jap hair now.
HAPPY EASTER!
