this weekend's been rather interesting =] first there was friday, which i'm still not sure if it was good or not. then saturday was, well, just a normal saturday. nothing really special, 'cept i got to talk to di =] and today i had to trek out to the airport to pick up my tix home. on the way back, i accidentally got off at downtown crossing, and since there was a bath and body right outside, i decided to drop by for a sec. there was this guy, mike, if i remember correctly, greeting people when they come in. he saw my ucsd sweatshirt and we started talking about la jolla, 'cause he's from there too. and he helped me pick something out for a friend. but the really amusing part was that he was so obviously gay, like jack in 'will and grace'. and i'm not trying to be stereotype him or anything, he just reminded me of jack, and when he told me he was gay *shrug* i thought it was amusing. he's really nice and funny. he kinda brightened up my day =] and on the t to the airport, there was this guy doing magic tricks, and he was really good! i was standing to the side of him to see if i could see like when he slips stuff into his hands and stuff, but he's really quick! its the first time i've ever given money to a street performer.

its weird how much is going on outside the tiny little world of mit. i guess i do need to get out more.
