Carmen was amazing. I was iffy on it until the last act. Oh..my. So much fire, so much passion. I literally held my breath as Carmen and Don Jose passionately argued in Seville. Once I ignored the supertitles and let the music guide me, I was swept away into it all. I'll have to find the songs to download later, they're too beautiful and passionate to ignore. This was the best night I've had in ages, I really needed a night like this.
