Home again after another brain surgery. I had 2 tumors removed, one in the right side and the other on the front of my left side. Apparently the surgery took 7 hours, a long time under anesthesia but the doc feels confident that things worked well.
I have sutures above my right ear and over my left eye. I start chemo and changes to my medications in about a week or so. Both of which are going to be unpleasant but if this round of treatments are not successful then I may be looking at 5-6 months before another round of surgery.
This set of tumors were identified about 3 months after the last set. I am concerned that more tumors may show soon. If so surgery may not be beneficial this time so we shall see.
