The surgery was successful, as far as I am told. No loss of brain function I am aware of and about 40 stitches on the side of my head but otherwise all quiet on the western front for now. This Thursday I am on for gamma knife radiation treatment for the hole where the tumor was as well as 2 other very small spots. Hopefully this is a step towards the end. I really hope so. If there are no problems with this treatment on Thursday then sometime in mid-late September I should go back into the hospital for another round of IL-2 therapy. Another two weeks of having my ass kicked by medicine. But if it helps me to be done with this I'll happily do it.

Today I head back to work (at least half day I think) for a few days. Guess I get a waiver for my hat :)
