our three year anniversary was amazing:)
and the piston's game rocked!
although they lost...by one point...with only a few seconds left....we had such a good time. rick hamilton is my fav;)
the ride home was a little tricky for several reasons....
1) the palace is located in a complicated area that doesn't make any sense
2) map quest stinks
3) so we decided to wing it..and just find our way home using our general knowledge of the detroit area and its surrounding highways
4) we don't have much knowledge of the detroit area
5) the only map we possessed was of ohio
surprisingly we made it home, after almost 5 hours--through the snow and ice. but i wouldn't trade it for anything:) usually when josh and i are on a road trip and are lost, things might get a bit tense or we can't agree on where to go. but last night, that really wasn't a problem and it just goes to show how far we have come in the last three years. God really has matured us so much--in many other ways than patience, and although i know we have so far to go....it is so encouraging to me to see the work that he has already done.
