Write a letter to anyone about anything. Say what you have always wanted to say but have been afraid to.

Seated at her workstation, her sketches spread in a chaotic order, covering the table, Lena has her pencil in hand. On one of her older sketches, she begins to pen a letter.

Dear Dr. Strathmore Marcus,

I feel ridiculous writing this. I'm your student I was your student, now I work with you. Night after night, we're here, alone, for hours on end. Just last week, everything finally got to be too much. You pushed everything off of that table over there, and that was that. And every night after that? The same thing? But now there's a silent agreement that the workstation remain clean. You always are the one aware of wasted time, aren't you? This is wrong on so many levels.

I think I'm in love with you, Marcus.

But tell me, if it's so wrong, why does it seem so right?

Lena

Glancing it over, she crumpled it up and stuffed it in her bag. No, she thought, I can't say that to him... it's not professional.
