Today after taking the dog for a walk with my bucket of love, I needed to sit down at work on my paper. I dont like studying at home, as there is always so much action at home and I hate wanting to go out and join my roomates doing all thier fun things while I sit at home and study. It is particularily difficult when my beautiful sugar lips is giving me "the look". I went down to the local coffee shop to work on my paper.
My older brother and his girlfriend are having a turkey dinner tonight, so I needed to decide what I was going to make. Hmmmnnn, perhaps pies I thought? Yes, thats what I decided to make. Pies.
I went out to get pie makings, and started making pies. I love baking. It reminds me of when I was just a wee boy, and my brother was beating me while mom made delicious pies in the kitchen. Reminds me of those good old days. Goodness gracious, do I ever like pies.
We have a couple of friends visiting from Victoria for the evening. Good people. Yes, very good people, and I enjoy thier company so much. We have been sending a bottle of Rum back and forth to each other for a while. This time it was returned to my with a picture of a turkey on it with my head attached to it. I thought it was very funny. I liked it, and I laughed when I saw it. They are good people. I like them. I hope they visit more often because I like it when they are here.
