Things are still going very well. This weekend was a lot of fun, but a little busy (okay a lot busy).

Friday
Went out to the barn and rode Kid & Belgae. Both horses were awesome, they are too cute. Then I drove home quickly and went to the football game for a little while. Yay for our cheerleaders for improving so much, you can definately tell they've been working hard. I wasn't feeling too good so I left early and came home to sleep.

Saturday
This day was lots of fun. I got up around 9:30 and Brandon and I left for the barn around 11. We stopped at Subway (yumm) and then kept on our journey. We saw this little farm selling pumpkins, straw and corn stalks so we stopped by to check it out. Brandon ended up buying me three bales of straw and two corn stalks to decorate the jumps at home with. We somehow managed to fit it all in the back of his Laser, it was a funny sight. We got to the barn finally and got Kid all ready to be ridden. He was totally amazing, really being a great horse. Jumping the bales and jumps with the corn stalks by them was nothing for him, I was very proud. First we set up a nice 3' oxer and he went over it so nice. I did okay with it, I need to fix a few things but most people that critiqued it said it wasn't terrible. I have a picture, it's blurry because it's a freeze frame off a video taken with a digital camera.

We also got a video clip of that same jump. http://www.tigzter.net/enigma/videos/PA110030.MOV (you MUST have QuickTime player for it to work). After that we bumped the jump up to 3'6". Kid has never jumped that high before and he was an angel. It looked pretty big coming up to it, I was a little doubtful but he barely blinked an eye. I have a video of that too, it's not too pretty on my part as I was being bounced out of the tack as although the poles were set at 3'6" he was jumping the 4' standards. Silly pony.

Anyways today I went out and worked Kid in the morning, then went to Powder Puff. I didn't like practice, I'm pissed that Yow took my spot away for missing one practice. Oh well not my fault if everyone blows past SS. Hopefully he'll let me have it back for the game. Then I went out and rode Marjorys horse at King of The Wind Farms. That is definately the most beautiful barn in the world. Landscaping could use a little work but the barn and indoor are amazing. I rode her horse "Down Low" he's an adorable 6y/o grey Selle Francais. Imported from France, he's beautiful. Definately one of the fanciest horses I've ever ridden. His canter is soo nice. She gave me a lesson while I rode him. We did lots of dressage stuff, collecting and whatnot. This horse will stay in a frame and bend with only his outside rein with contact (only Katie will know what I mean here). She proved this by having me drop my inside rein completely. It was really cool!

Anyways that's all for now. Time for bed :) Seniors are gonna kick ass tomorrow.
