NEWS BREAK!
We were driving along the PA Turnpike and there was a bit of a back-up. We were in or near a construction zone so we were were not sure what was at first. then we came up to the Accident. I could see 2 cars involved smashed into each other and against the left concrete median. After a moment of indecision whether to stop and help we stopped. lilpup's and daddygoliath's vehicles are both equipped with emergency lighting since they are in that business: K-9 Lighting (the 3rd car in our caravan was Shadow and Silent). Also Goliath (a licensed EMT Paramedic [sorry for brain slip Goliath] had Tigress with him ).
With the 3 cars stopped, all the emergency lighting active the group ran over to the scene. Goliath was helpful with one of the patients and lilpup (after grabbing his box containing LED round "flares") they helped out keeping traffic away from the scene using direction flashlights and there 2-way radio's. felix_carni and myself stayed back (up?) with the to wait. There really was more than enough help already and we didn't want to get in the way.
All worked out for the best, no fatalities, and we got going again after they were done helping out. At least we didn't have to wait in the 10 miles of traffic since both east bound lanes were closed. Also, K9 lighting got some advertising because one of the fire fighters at the scene took a Business card.
