Hopefully that day will come soon. You have complained to someone with influence who can possibly affect the situation and make it better...as frustrating as it may be, you really cannot do much more than that. Franco seems to have tyranical power over your academic life at Cambridge, and because of that and his shrewish nature, it is near impossible to approach him directly...as I am sure you desire *mental laugh here over image of Lila screaming at cowering Franco and smacking him with a foam bat*.
I am very proud of you my Lila...and I wish that I could help the situation in some way. I despise seeing you frustrated.
But cheer up dearest...I'm currently trying to find a flight from Shannon or Dublin into Heathrow at a somewhat cheap rate...but am only finding flights into various London airports instead. Frustrating indeed. But I WILL prevail...and will hopefully come visit you in February or early March at the latest.

P.S. How WAS seeing the Berlin Orchestra once again? Hopefully the violins were as sweet as always, the cellos as deep, entrancing, and compelling, and the violas as intellectually and emotionally stimulating. *wink* Love you.
