If you don't love me just leave me alone...
Now I'm not the biggest fan of rap music, but I've been taking a liking to some--say, the Gray Album. It's more hip hop than rap and the Beatles White Album background music is superb. Maybe that's why I like it so much though, because they mixed hip hop with the Beatles and I'm hopelessly in love with them. You can't buy it anywhere because of some property rights ordeal with Capital Records, but if you are able, I highly recommend downloading it, or you know, I could possibly burn you a copy if you're a cool kid.
I went to the Ani DiFranco concert last night. Of the three I've been to, it was definitely the best so far. It was outside and she played a fair amount of old stuff from Dilate and Little Plastic Castles. I will attend her shows until she stops recording music and seeing as she puts out a new album annually, I'll hopefully be attending many concerts into the future.
