Yup, you heard meh; I'm calling on anyone who wants a free picture. I'm done with commissions. I like my sanity too much. :)
So then. I've got a bit of a backlog to clean up before I get started on anything new, but I am willing to take requests now, your pic will just be on hold for a little while before I actually get the time to start it. There are a few conditions I'd appreciate people being open to, in relation to any request, and those conditions are:
1. Be patient and polite. This is a biggie. I've got a busy day to day life aside from a busy art related life. I'm a working college student who needs to pay bills, keep house, take care of mah baby (Buddy) and try to have a life on the side. So what does this mean for you? It means I'll be slow; short and simple, and I need people who are understanding of that. I have a life (or I try to fake it at least), and I need to be able to take my time to produce something we'll both be proud of. So it might take me a while to get to your picture, and then it might take me even longer to finish it, but I will promise to hand you (figuratively speaking of course) a well refined and polished piece; to the best of my efforts of course. :) For a free picture though, I'd hope that wouldn't be asking too much.
2. Don't be greedy. I want to make art for people who are truly going to appreciate it and all the hard work I put into it, so have a heart. Please don't ask me to paint you a huge 3 foot picture of your favorite character and all their friends in a super detailed environment and then request I mail it to you for free. x.x My intentions here are to -not- kill myself with something I'm supposed to be enjoying. I will -rarely- give away originals to non-paying recipients and even with paying recipients I won't ship for free. So be reasonable with your request. I most likely won't do any paintings unless your idea is just so awesome it screams to be splattered all over some helpless canvas. :) I won't be sending you an original; instead, you'll get a high res (or highest possible res) digital image/scan. Unless you live down the block, then I might give you the original if I'm not too attached to it. :p
3. Be reasonable. Please don't ask for anything that might make me blush for too long or will require me to profusely plead the 5th in a U.S. court of law. That would be unfun indeed. Don't take this as meaning be PG-13 or worse, PG *shudder*, but be reasonable in what you're requesting. You want nudity? Ok. Erotic nudity? All right. Spoogie, three-headed, multi-breasted, dick-nippled, macro, herm, guro, yoai/yuri? Uhhh, errr... sorry. You've got the wrong person. Try looking up a few artist on F-chan though. I'm sure someone there can help. :)
Regardless of my personal interest or opinions in a work of art, anything I put my name on automatically becomes a representation and marker for me as both an artist and an individual human being. I've got a few standards, and I'll stand by them.
So then, what CAN you request and expect? Well, how about:
A moderately sized image, with moderately complicated composition and content, a moderate color (or monochrome) scheme, done with the use of moderate materials, completed in a moderate amount of time, with the absolute best of my abilities, knowledge, care and interest placed into it.
:) Sounds good? I hope so.
Everything within moderation, and moderately, right?
So yeah. If you're interested, send me a note here or email me or get in contact with me in some manner. This is all going to be started after, I get at least a little over half of the pending trades and giftart done first, of course.

This is my current "To Do" list. I won't be starting with requests yet, but I'll post the empty slots here so anyone who's interested knows they can at least ask and then have a spot secured for when I am finally ready to start their pictures. :) Most of these are pending because I've lost contact with the person I'm doing them for and I'm not sure if I should keep working on them or move on. :\ A few are pending just because I've lost materials in some manner and can't complete them. -.- Damn dead hard drives. *cry*

I -WAS- going to start off easy with only two slots, but now I say to hell with that. I'll take as many requests as I can reasonably handle, but you'll all have to live with my slowness and stubborn muse. :p So here's the updated request list and the estimated number of what I think I can handle.
