IN THE HEIGHTS
I GOT THE "IN THE HEIGHTS" DEMO CD YESTERDAY AND I HAVE NOT STOPPED LISTENING TO IT SINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is amazing. It is definitly one of the best shows ive worked on and one of the best new musicals I've experienced in a while. I vacumed the stage today at MTC listening to it, and whats funny, is at intermission, I saw my friend Tommy who was the director of IN THE HEIGHTS. and i told him i vacumed to the cd and he was like "yeah i thought the stage looked especially well vacumed...must have been the music" hahahahha. what a nice suprise to see him. i love nyc. i babysat tonight and made 110 bucks. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. now im tired and have work at MTC again tomrrow...matinee. 1 week till I take over full time. yay. I got a job for june and august...im stage managing a show for the fringe festival. my friend Ryan is directing and he told the production managers and producers that I am the SM he wanted. So at the interview they were like "so when will u let us know cause Ryan said you were the one he wanted" hehehe YAY. so of course I took the job. =) its little money but it will be a great experience, and Ryan is fabulash and I love him. He was the AD on secret garden. Then he had me ASM his concert last week at the ZIPPER on very short notice and was so happy with me that he wanted me for his new shows. I am meeting so many amazing people here and making so many amazing connections. I was supposed to have dinner with Robin tomorrow, but he had to cancel....maybe next week. Life is just grand. I leave for Cabo in 3 weeks....eeeeeeeeeek I need a new bathing suit. ok bed time, working in the theater tomorrow! i love my life.
