in the heights
I LOVE IN THE HEIGHTS. I know i have said it before, but I will say it again...I love this damn show! the music just keeps playing in my head and I cannot stop it. It better go somewhere far and soon and I hope I still work on it when it goes to the places it will go. Oh yeah, got an email to interview for signature theater as a PA on their new show.....which stars Sherie rene scott and lily taylor, directed by michael grief. did I mention I saw the TONY awards on Jeffrey Sellers shelf? It was exciting, i'd never seen one in the flesh! hahahaa.
anyway, the cast of the show is amazing, and so sweet, and I get to see Hugh Panero every day rehearsing next door to me....and in the eating/greenroom/lounge area where he was staring at me throuhgout lunch hahaha.
big party tomorow night....I cant stay too late cuase i have to be at rehearsal at 9am monday, but I shall go for a little while, maybe Matt C will be there....I sure do hope so. it did not feel like saturday today....I have tomorrow off finally but this one day off a week thing is quite taxing, and although I love the show, I dont think I am a 9-630 girl in the long run! I wish we had a full weekend off. not a 6 day work week, and one "equity" day off. I guess I wouldnt mind if I was being paid like I was in equity! hahaha. woe is me. oh well, someday I will SM on bway. yay. I just know I will. and so far I am on the right track. goodnight. this is the latest ive been up all week, cant spoil myself to sleep in too late tomorrow, or I wont get to bed tomorrow night.
