a mountain getaway
I had one of the most relaxing weekends in quite some time. Friday after work, Patrick picked me up and we headed to Deep Creek, MD for his annual reunion with all his high school friends. They had rented a huge lake house for the weekend that sits right on top of a mountain. The place was amazing with 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Laura hit all 3 of them! It was so nice being away from civilization and just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. We got back home Sunday afternoon and watched the Redskins game. We also walked around the Burke Festival and visited j3llybellybean and dirtntrees who were helping Mr. Bean sell his coins. I am so excited about tomorrow night. Patrick and I are going to see Mandy Moore at the Birchmere in Alexandria. I've never been there and am looking forward to a great concert. Another great weekend is coming up and I get to see my sister who will be in town for the VA Wine Festival. Horray!
