Jumping on the bandwagon...

Well, now that everyone else has updated their journals, I'm jealous, so I'll have to jump on the bandwagon and update, too. =)

My life is so not interesting these days...my life consists of school, homework, work, food, sleep, and Christmas shopping. I'm so excited (I can't even put it into words) about Thanksgiving break. This is the time of year where I usually start going really downhill, like I'm going to die any minute (a little dramatic, I know). But this year, no way Jose! We get a week off for Thanksgiving (yay!) and then we'll have 3 weeks left of school, and then I'm done for a month! Plus, Christmas is soon, and I can't wait to just spend time with my family and celebrate Jesus.

Work is good, kinda crazy right now since LifeWay just opened here in Lynchburg, but it's excellent ministry time and just fun to fellowship with other Christians. And I like having money, too.

So, marriage. That big word that I hear just about every day lol. We're excited and can't wait, but really, it's not like our world is going to explode and then be put back together. We're ready for this, and our certainty comes from God...He just reinforces His will for us everyday. Like today, for example. It was small, but I was in a crummy mood, and Billy just made my day by taking me to lunch. We're trying so hard to save money, and I told him not to do it, but he did anyway, and it just made me cry to know that he cares so much for me that he'll go out of his way to make me cheer up. And God just spoke to my heart in that moment, and He just reaffirmed that this is what's meant for our lives. It wasn't the going to lunch thing, or even that he was trying to make me feel better, but God just gave me a new perspective on the person Billy is, and I realized just how much God has blessed my life and taught me so much through him. It's not going to be easy...heck, it's not easy now. But it's good. And sorry for any cheesy-ew-mushy-feeling-ness...but hey, if ya don't like it, don't read it lol. Just kidding!

Well, I'm gonna go meet my sister Amanda now...we're going to dinner and then to church. Talk to you peeps later!
