ARGH!!
So my sister, Valerie, calls me last night and says that she and Hank are thinking of getting married in October. She wants to get married on Veronica's birthday since Veronica and Jim got married on herShe is stressed about having people to the wedding and just wants a small private wedding and then a big reception but Hank says you cant not invite people to the wedding. Guess they arent going to get wedding rings since they both work with their hands....thinking about having rings tattoed on their fingers...interesting idea i think. But...that being said...she expects people to drop everything and come 1000 miles on 2 months notice. She is mental. I dont know how we can manage it. We are pulling teeth now just to pay the bills. Not sure when my surgery will be either so thats a factor as well. Even if Joey and I drive, (and my car isnt the best) that will be expensive the way gas is. To fly M out for just the weekend would be minimum $300. I really would want him there though since my aunt/uncle and cousins will all be there...want to show him off :)
I know it will all work out somehow but its added stress right now that we dont need.
Maybe Mom or Dad could come up with some money to help. More than likely I would have to drive to DC and pick up Dad anyway if he goes. Not sure if Loretta's health would be up for the trip.
Even though its a lot to be worked out etc. I am still very excited about the possible trip and seeing my cousins etc.
