Hello readers!
Sorry I haven't been able to post for a few days - it's soooo cold, I haven't felt up for braving the outside world to be able to get to a computer ( that and Mum's been very busy - apparantley there's some big day next week called Christmas....) Anyway, what's been happening?? Well on Friday Mum brought the noseband back - now I don't like this, cos it means I can't open my mouth while working, and therefore I have to listen to Mm a bit more - tried to shake it off... didn't work, but when I saw them putting the jums up I calmed down - I love jumping!!!! And it'd been more than a week since I'd been able to get my legs up! Turns out I am the best horse in the group - and we even jumped over a metre high - everyone was vry impressed by my lovely jumping and I actually got an extra carrot - must do the same this afternoon! Saturday was ok - just a bit of flat work - and I was nice, even though silly grey pony Happy kept kicking the walls at canter and trying to get rid of his rider - I would ever do that!! Run very fast yes - get rid of Mum... noooo..... Sunday was a walk in the park- although absolutely freezing, more flatwork and incurvatin exercises before my favourite day of the week - Monday! I get to rolll and run and buck and everything on Mondays - mum let me out int he indoor school ( too cold outside and the ground's frozen, despite the sunshine) and boy did I have fun ! I rolled at least 10 times! and showed Mum how i can do pirouettes at a canter..... scared myself a bit when I clicked my heels and spent sparks flying - fortunately didn't arrive in Kansas, so it's all good. And then yesterday Mum had arranged fo me to be able to go out with my mate Nectar - 40 minutes in the school and then a quick walk outside to get some fresh air - tis VERY cold tho, so we didn't go far, especially as we both got scared by random animals in bushes, and the scary ice puddles - there's this big rther good-looking horse looking at me form the ground - it's a bit disconcerting but hey, got home safely and was tucked warmly into bed, ready to get myself in gear for todays jumping class... Mum'll post later to let you know how it went - ( ed: they've put big garland up in the indoor school - wonder how scared he's going to be!) and I'll be wishing you all a very warm day !!!!
