Well the holiday is finally here. The last day of term was definite demon management, we had a non uniform day and the kids took this as being the perfect opportunity to avoid work and be monsters, oh well no kids for the next two weeks so all will be well.
Friday night PT cam to help drink rum... vast improvement on last time, no hangover, although we both probably deserved one given the quantity of rum that was consumed and then we moved onto the port *whoops*. Luckily the traditional remedy of tea and toast before bed seemed to do the trick.
Saturday was pretty much a day of spoiling myself, lots of washing dried on the line, a massage in the afternoon, a visit to Anteaques for tea and scones and then a bubble bath to finish the day off. It made for a perfect start to the holiday. Sunday was a mixture of church and spring cleaning once I had emerged from my 12 hour sleep. I was on crèche in the morning so had cuddles from P (10 wk old) and BP broke my record for the speed at which babies fall asleep on me, under 15 seconds. I'm not entirely sure who was more content, me or him :D. Then over coffee one of the other people at church tried to convince me that I should organise for Faure Requiem to be sung in the church next Easter, no idea why he picked on me, whilst to join in and sing it again would be fabulous, I really really think it is beyond my skills to pull that one off!.
Today has been spent continuing with the spring cleaning still have the study and spare bedroom to do and the floor in my room, but its definitely a vast improvement on the state the flat had been in.
Tomorrow I am entertaining family W whilst RW is at a meeting and then Wednesday I am playing tourist in town. I like holidays
