I know this is asking alot and it seems kind of strange to be asking this way. But, I figured this is about the only time I "talk to" some of you, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
I was just wondering if anyone happens to have O Negative blood and would be willing (or able) to donate?
My 14-year-old sister, April, is having back surgery (she's got a severe case of scoliosis) on Thursday, September 15. My dad and I are the only ones in the family with O Negative that are able to donate & we are having to rely on outside sources for blood.
I have to call the Red Cross within the next few days to make an appointment to donate my blood. The nearest Red Cross center from EC is in Athens and if there is anyone that can/would donate from EC, we can just carpool together (especially since gas prices are outrageous).
If you're able to donate and would be willing to, just IM me on AIM (Tggr91882), email me (faith918@excite.com), or call my room (3337).
Even if you can't donate (or even if you don't want to), I still thank each of you for taking time to read it. Be praying for April because this is definitely a scary thing for her to be going through.
God bless!
