I'm reading Perks of Being a Wallflower for...like...the hundreth time. and i just read this and i wanted to put it on here...
before i do that i just want to say that i am wierd when i read this book...i almost feel like i really think when i read it...like REALLY think...like every other moment in my life im not thinking RIGHT or AS MUCH as i think when i read this book...i'll be done with it by the end of the night...and then i'll be back to my "normal" state...less thoughtful and most of all less agrivated with everyone who hasnt read this book...or rather everyone who would read it and not GET it...Nate gets it...Jen gets it...
here's the passage:

"You ever think, Charlie, that our group is the same as any other group like the football team? And the only real difference between us is what we wear and why we wear it?"
"Yeah?" And there was a pause.
"Well, I think it's all bullshit."
And he meant it. It was hard to see him mean it that much.
